Post Jam update
This game gets a post-jam update today!
By my original design some of the characters' skills would trigger a knock-back effect post-execution. I left them out of the jam because the animation was buggy and I deemed it to not worth the time. So now here they are.
This version of the game is not going to get any major update from this point and on. However I'm in the process of creating new characters, which will go to a "formal release" version of Tempo Battle Stage.
Major skill changes:
Daybreak
Close In:
Stamina Cost: 1 -> 0
Number in deck: 2 -> 4
Dash:
TU1: Advance 1 grid -> Advance 2 grids
Stamina Cost: 0 -> 1
Lunge:
TU1: Resistance modifier -1 -> 0
Retreat:
TU1: Backstep 1 grid -> Bakcstep 1 grid and block 1 damage; Resistance modifier -1 -> 0
Number in deck: 1 -> 2
Ruthless Strike:
TU2: Advance 1 grid and deal 6 damage in range 1 -> Advance 1 grid and deal 7 damage in range 1. If attack connected, push opponent back 1 grid.
Subdue:
Number in deck: 2 -> 1
Cautious Attack:
Number in deck: 3 -> 2
Offhand Parry:
Number in deck: 3 -> 2
Cadence
Finale:
TU1: Move to 1 grid in front of opponent and deal 4 damage in range 1 -> Deal 5 damage in range 1. If inflicted stagger, push opponent back 2 grids
TU2: Move to 1 grid in front of opponent and deal 4 damage in range 1 -> Move to 1 grid in front of opponent and deal 3 damage in range 1
Jump Smash:
TU2: Deal 6 damage in range 1 -> Deal 4 damage in range 1. If inflicted stagger, push opponent back 1 grid
Stamina cost: 3 -> 2
Spinning Strike:
TU3: Deal 3 damage in range 1. Gain 2 Appeal -> Deal 3 damage in range 1. If attack connected, gain 2 Appeal
Swaying Steps:
TU1: Backstep 1 grid and block 1 damage -> Backstep 1 grid and block 2 damage; Resistance modifier: 1 -> 0
TU2: Advance 1 grid and deal 1 damage in range 1 -> Advance 1 step and deal 2 damage. If attack was unblocked, push opponent back 1 grid; Resistance modifier: 1 -> 0
Trip:
TU2: Deal 3 damage in range 2. Apply 2 extra stagger -> Deal 2 damage in range 2. Apply 3 extra stagger.
Number in deck: 2 -> 4
Round Swipe:
Number in deck: 3 -> 2
Fading Swing:
Number in deck: 3 -> 2
Other minor fixes/changes:
- Changed some animation
- Updated anti-aliasing
