Alpha version starts today (under a different page)
The Alpha version is here. I want to keep the Jam version of the game as-is so there's always a somewhat complete experience that wouldn't confuse anyone. That's why I uploaded it under a separate project page:

This version will remain restricted until I'm ready to release a complete demo (4 playable characters and refined game flow, UX, rulebook design, etc.) The password is TBSA, which is just the acronym of the title.

Major changes from the jam version:
New character
Adage - the Seer.
This is still a no-magic world of fiction. A Seer's role in the society is someone who, along with others, study history extensively to gain an understanding of the rules of the world, so as a whole they can somewhat predict what might happen in the future based on the current events. Each Seer is seen as a fragment of the Grand Historian, the divine entity that is simultaneously aware of the past, present and the future. It was somewhat inspired by the Laplace's Demon.
So despite Adage being a "Seer", there is no magical property to their moves. It's based on learning your opponent and tactical moves in-battle.

Special Rules:
- Draw 1 from your Foresight deck instead of your main deck when you Strategize.
- When your Foresight deck is empty, you gain Clairvoyance.
- When you're Clairvoyant, the priority token cannot be passed to you.

Round Swipe:
Removed TU2 (Recovery)
Trip → Topple (only name change)
Daybreak
Full Parry:
TU1 - Resistance modifier: 3 → 0
Retreat:
TU1 - Backstep 1 grid and block 1 damage → Backstep 1 grid and block 2 damage.
Stamina cost: 0 → 1
Pursue:
TU1 - Move to 1 grid in front of opponent. → Move to 1 grid in front of opponent. If advanced and not pushed abck on this time unit, next time unit deals extra damage equal to the amount of advancement.
Game Flow
Before the start of the game, the players will choose the composition of their deck. Each player will choose 20 out of 25 available cards, so they can adjust their move sets based on the opponent they're facing. New players who are not familiar with the game may choose to use the Default Loadout.
Game Mode
Added Practice Mode, where you can choose who you will be playing and who you will fight against.
Note: AI doesn't know how to play Adage at the moment.
In classic mode, each player is supposed to draw two Fighter cards and pick one of them to play. Since there are only three characters available at the moment, the one character you did not see will be the character the AI is using.
